Easily invite attendees to your event, collect their data and manage the whole event application process through sharing a web form. The web form you will share is created through “Attendee fields”, on which you can read more here.
After you create your form, it is time to share it with the world. You can do that by using “Invite attendees”. CoreEvent will collect all of the applications in the “Pending requests” list, where you will accept them or deny them access to your event.
Inviting attendees to an event without attendee categories
When creating your event, you had the option to turn on the Categories & zones module. If you didn’t do that, and you are not sorting attendees according to their categories, you can just take the link created on the “Invite attendees” page, in the “Invite link” field and paste it to wherever you want. Your attendees will use the form on the link to fill in their information.
P.S. A tip - if you just want to see how the form looks before making it public, just open the link for yourself on another tab of your browser.
Inviting attendees to an event that has attendee categories
When you were creating your event, you had the option to turn on the Categories & zones module. If you did that, you have the option to choose the category you want to assign to the attendees that will fill out the invite form.
This can be handy if, for example, you sent the form to the journalists that will be covering your event. In that case, you can just select the category you want them to be in and collect your data.
Of course, you can still give the attendees the option to choose their own category, by enabling the slide button next to the text “Attendees can choose category”.
What to do with the invite link?
You can copy the invite link and share it anyway you like. You can send it to your target group via an email campaign, you can post it on social media, integrate it to your website…Just post the link to any place you want (or more places) and that is all you need to do.
Close event applications
When you want to disable further applications to your event, just hit the red “Close event applications” button on the “Invite attendees” page.
It is important for you to know that closing applications includes rejecting all pending requests, so be sure to check them out before closing event applications.
If you want to open event applications again, you can just click on the blue “Open event applications” button and the form will collect data again.
