Workshops

With CoreEvent, you can create events occurring during your event and let your attendees apply to them. Whether it is a lecture, a panel, or a workshop, you can find this function under the common name “Workshops” in the “Event settings” section of your menu.

When you create a workshop, applying to it will be possible through your invite form, so we advise you to create the workshops before opening the event applications.

You can add as many workshops as you like. On the “Workshops” page, other than adding or editing workshops, you can also track current attendance.

Creating workshops

To create a workshop, click on the “Create workshop” button on the top of the page. Here you can add the workshop name, start and end time, and a description.

Adding lecturers

You can add the lecturers that will be holding the event by typing in their name to the “Lecturers” field. You can only add people that are currently in the “Attendee list”.

Adding halls

This feature is only available if you have enabled the module “Mobile App” while creating the event and are using our Attendee App. Then you can add the halls where workshops will be happening to your event. After you have added the halls, you can assign them to the workshops by typing in the name of the hall in the “Hall” field.

Attendance limit

You can decide whether the workshop attendance is limited or unlimited by clicking on the sliding button next to the text “Workshop’s attendance is unlimited”. If you don’t turn on this feature, you can type in the maximum number of attendees your workshop can support in the “Attendance limit” field.

After you are done with filling out all of the fields for creating a workshop, be sure to click on the “Create” button on the bottom of the page. Otherwise, your progress will be lost.

You can edit all of the workshop information any time you want by clicking on the name of the workshop. Don’t forget to click on the “Update” button before leaving the page.

Don’t forget, if you have any problems which are not covered in this guide, please, let us know. We will help you! :)
